Michael K. Williamson concentrates his practice in Creditor's Rights, Bankruptcy, Family Law, and mediation. He received his B.A. from the University at Albany and graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law. He has practiced for 29 years, representing banks, credit unions, and other creditor clients in State Court and Federal Bankruptcy proceedings, as well as representing individuals in Family Law matters, including contested divorce and custody proceedings. He is certified as a Creditor's Rights Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and was recently selected for the National Corporate Counsel Edition of Super Lawyers in the area of Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights. He is listed as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator in the field of Family Mediation and has taken advanced mediation training for cases involving domestic violence. He lectures frequently on bankruptcy, family law, and mediation issues.
