Michael P. Lyons is nationally recognized as one of the leading plaintiffs’ trial attorneys in the United States, known for his remarkable track record in high-stakes, complex cases involving catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. With more than 26 years of legal experience, Mr. Lyons has secured verdicts and settlements exceeding $1 billion since 2023, including some of the largest in Texas history. He is acclaimed for his relentless advocacy, innovative use of courtroom technology, and creative trial strategies. Mr. Lyons’s landmark results include an $860 million verdict in a high-profile tower crane collapse case and a $109.5 million verdict for catastrophic injury victims. His leadership extends beyond individual cases, having served on the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee for the Astroworld Festival Litigation. Mr. Lyons has received extensive recognition for his achievements, including repeated listings in The Best Lawyers in America, Lawdragon 500, and Texas Super Lawyers Top 100, as well as the John Howie Award for courageous pursuit of justice. Active in professional and community organizations, he presently serves as the Vice President of Finance for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and is committed to impactful service both in and out of the courtroom.
