About Attorney Awards

Biography

I am a Partner at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., a Houston personal injury law firm founded in 1979 by my late father, Keith M. Fletcher.

My practice focuses on commercial trucking litigation...18-wheelers, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, cement mixers, buses and other commercial vehicle crashes.

I am a member of the American Association for Justice's Trucking Litigation Group and have dedicated my career to representing victims of commercial motor vehicle crashes throughout Texas.

I have held the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 2017.

I was recognized as a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters every year from 2020 through 2025 and named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 every year from 2017 through 2025.

I was named one of Houston's Top Lawyers by H Texas Magazine in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2020, and named a Top Lawyer by Houstonia Magazine in 2014 and 2015. In 2017, I was named one of the Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys Under 40 in Texas-Houston by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys.

I hold a 10/10 rating on Avvo.

I earned my J.D. with a special concentration in Civil Litigation from Baylor University School of Law in 2009, where I was on the Dean's List in 2008 and 2009 and served as President of the American Constitution Society.

I earned my B.A. in History from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2006. I joined Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. immediately upon my admission to the Texas Bar in 2009 and purchased the firm with my partners, Sharon Simmons-Cantrell and Paul H. Cannon, in 2020.

I represent injury victims throughout Houston, Katy, Cypress, Memorial, Sugar Land, and across Texas in cases involving truck accidents, 18-wheeler collisions, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, slip and fall, and wrongful death claims.

I am a member of St. Philip Presbyterian Church in Houston and a Life Member of the Baylor Law Alumni Association.

I am available for media commentary on commercial trucking litigation, FMCSA regulations, 18-wheeler accidents, and Texas personal injury law.
