Biography

David Di Pietro is an AV Preeminent® rated trial attorney and founder of Di Pietro Partners, PLLC. Based in Fort Lauderdale, David has more than 20 years of litigation experience and focuses his practice on complex probate and trust litigation, healthcare law, medical malpractice, healthcare whistleblower and False Claims Act matters, and business litigation.

His probate and trust practice includes contested wills, estate litigation, inheritance disputes, trust disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, undue influence matters, and other contested estate proceedings. David’s healthcare practice includes litigation, professional licensing and regulatory matters involving physicians, medical practices, and healthcare organizations.

Prior to entering private practice, David served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Seventeenth Judicial Circuit. He subsequently represented individuals and businesses in a broad range of state and federal litigation, including contract disputes, fraud claims, fiduciary litigation, shareholder disputes, injunction proceedings, and other complex commercial matters.

David has also served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners and has held leadership roles involving Broward Health. In addition to his legal practice, he is frequently invited by national and regional media outlets to provide legal analysis and commentary on major trials and legal developments.
