Biography

J. Boone Tarlton is an associate in our Asheville office where he practices in appellate, business litigation, construction, general liability, insurance coverage, and premises liability matters.

Prior to joining HBS, Boone worked for a civil litigation firm where he gained experience managing insurance defense, automotive, premises liability, professional liability, and general liability matters. Previously living in New Orleans, Boone also worked at firms there where he was responsible for handling flood insurance claims, Jones Act, and maritime insurance defense cases.

Boone earned his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Environmental Geoscience from Texas A&M University.
