Since becoming licensed in 1996. Jaime has practiced extensively in civil trial law and personal injury.
Raised in Austin, Texas, Jaime obtained his B.S. in Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement (Psychology minor) at South Texas State University (now Texas State University). He then graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law. While in law school, Jaime interned with the Supreme Court of Texas for Ho. Nathan Hecht, where he researched and cataloged material from Supreme Court Advisory Committee on rules of procedure and aided in the developing and drafting the new Texas rules of discovery.
Following graduation, Jaime entered the practice of personal injury, where he became a name partner after only two years at his first position. Following later positions with the former State Bar President and almost a decade as a solo-practitioner, Jaime was appointed an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas. During these tenures, Jaime managed hundreds of cases and successfully conducted numerous trials. Returning to private, he now serves with the Carlson Law Firm, P.C. in the area of civil trial law.
