About Attorney Awards

Biography

While at the Florida State College of Law, Jed clerked for the General Counsel at the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), where he specialized in appellate issues. Jed later clerked at an insurance-defense law firm, Henry, Buchanan, Hudson, Suber, Carter, P.A., where he assisted on appellate and litigation-related matters. He also served as the Attorney General for the FSU Student Government Association and as a Fellow for the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. While serving as a Fellow for the Speaker, Jed authored several bills that were subsequently filed in the Florida House of Representatives.

After passing the Bar, Jed served as a Prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted thousands of cases, which included the successful argument of countless motions and the trial of numerous cases as both lead and co-counsel. Jed joined a large downtown Orlando insurance-defense law firm, where he assisted in the litigation of hundreds of cases, including the defense of some of the country’s largest insurance companies.

In 2010, Jed opened his own law firm, The Main Law Firm, P.L. After years of experience, Jed knew that he could use his courtroom and trial experience, along with his knowledge from defending insurance companies to help good people fight against insurance companies.

Jed has met the eligibility requirements for trial experience to become Board Certified in Civil Trial Law (application pending). This means he has extensive trial experience as the lead attorney in jury trials throughout Florida.
