Jonathan R. Ratchik is a partner at Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik, PLLC, where he has devoted his entire legal career, more than 25 years, exclusively to the representation of seriously injured plaintiffs in New York.

Jonathan holds the AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the profession's highest peer review distinction, reflecting top marks from fellow attorneys for legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards. He has been selected to the New York Super Lawyers list for six consecutive years (2020–2025).

His practice spans complex personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle and truck accidents, Labor Law sections 240 and 241 construction accidents, premises and elevator liability, pedestrian injuries, and medical malpractice. Jonathan has litigated cases through trial and appeal in New York State courts, including the First Department Appellate Division, and in federal court. He has secured significant verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients whose lives were permanently altered by others' negligence.

Jonathan has lectured for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA) and remains active in the plaintiff's bar community. He earned his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law (1997) and his B.A., cum laude, from New York University (1994). He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1998.
