Victims seem most vulnerable in the area of consumer loans. Understanding numbers, figures, interest rates, etc. and how it will all play out is challenging for lay people - especially those living paycheck to paycheck without options/support network. Fraudsters take full advantage of the fact that breach of contact damages generally aren't enough to entice an attorney to get involved. Luke helps anyway. Read less

Luke Wallace responded asap (just like a super hero) when I emailed him blindly about a year ago for guidance on helping a victim of trailer leasing fraud. Hs response was a blessing as so few attorneys practice consumer law. Like employment law, the consumer lawyer's life is consumed with tears, toil, blood and sweat and often no payoff. We were able to get my legal assistant (50 yr old sole caretaker for roommate with terminal cancer) compensation on a Hurricane Katrina FEMA trailer. And last month, we helped a coworker (60 yr old sole caregiver for 82 yr old mom & disabled adopted brother) in connection with an auto dealer. Both victims live paycheck to paycheck. In spite of his schedule and not knowing me, Luke Wallace responded to my blind email for help. He guided me through getting my legal assistant compensation on a Hurricane Katrina FEMA trailer that a leasing company fraudulently sold to her last year. He also watched over me last month in getting another coworker's trade-in (involving fraud) back from a car dealer. Neither case was a fee maker - but meant the world to the people we helped and let fraudsters know we are watching. We care. Read less
