Biography

Mark L. Pickett is a Partner in our Atlanta office where he focuses his practice on construction, general liability, premises liability, products liability, and transportation matters. He is an experienced attorney, having handled hundreds of claims for clients in every corner of the state, from pre-litigation investigations through the appellate courts, including over 50 civil jury trials to verdict. Mark also serves on the HBS National Trial Counsel team for his experience in security, transportation, products liability, and general liability.

Prior to joining HBS, Mark worked for a metro-Atlanta firm that handled self-insured and insurance defense claims all over Georgia, representing a variety of companies, including a multi-national retailer, commercial carriers, property managers, hospitals, and insurance companies. He also worked for a South Georgia firm representing motor carriers, insurers, construction contractors and vendors, financial institutions, hospitals, municipalities, employers, and individuals.

Mark earned his Juris Doctor and his Bachelor of Science in Math, with a minor in Chemistry, from Vanderbilt University.
