Biography

After earning his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1982, Mitchell Kitroser began his legal career in real estate and civil litigation, later serving as a confidential law clerk to New York State Supreme Court Justice Richard A. Goldberg. He moved to Palm Beach County in 1995 to join the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney. Over the years Mr. Kitroser transitioned his practice to focus on the particular legal challenges facing families—elder law, guardianship, estate planning, probate, and trust litigation. He maintains memberships in the Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and participates in the Elder Law and Real Property and Trusts sections of the Florida Bar, as well as the Florida State Guardianship Association. In addition to Florida, he is admitted to practice in New York and Colorado. A resident of Palm Beach Gardens, Mr. Kitroser is married and the father of two; he applies decades of courtroom and practical experience to provide thoughtful, family-centered legal counsel tailored to his clients’ needs.
