Heath's practice focuses on representing insured persons and businesses throughout the states of Louisiana and Mississippi. He has successfully litigated multiple cases through trial to verdict before judge and jury. Heath has also successfully argued before the First Circuit Court of Appeal located in Baton Rouge on numerous occasions. Heath's practice centers on cases in litigation providing him with the opportunity to have taken hundreds of depositions and to have participated in dozens of mediations as lead counsel. He prides himself on accessibility to his clients while providing a personal attorney-client relationship.
After law school Heath served as law clerk for the 22nd Circuit Court District of Mississippi where he clerked for the Honorable Lamar Pickard. Following his judicial clerkship he served as a staff attorney for the Louisiana House of Representatives drafting legislation that is now contained in the Louisiana Revised Statutes. Prior to joining Plauche Maselli Parkerson, Heath was a partner in a civil litigation law firm in Baton Rouge representing a variety of different clients.
