Richard is by far the best medical malpractice defense lawyer in this area and certainly one of the best in Georgia. He is generally known by plaintiffs' counsel to be fair when appropriate to settle but more than willing to go to trial if warranted.... Read more

He is generally known by plaintiffs' counsel to be fair when appropriate to settle but more than willing to go to trial if warranted. I have watched him try cases and he is excellent. Richard is also a genuinely wonderful person. He is generous when it comes to assisting young lawyers, even those like me that are typically on the "opposite" side, and he is a great family person. There is no better example of an ethical, professional, and talented attorney than Richard. He works hard. While Richard practices in the area of medical malpractice, he also expertly handles professional malpractice claims, insurance defense work, and general civil litigation. Young lawyers (and old lawyers too) should stive to be like Ricard. He goes about his business in the right way. I watched Richard get a defense verdict in an 11 day jury trial. If he's not AV, then no one is. Read less
