About Attorney Awards

Thomas Tona has been in the practice of law for 24 years, and has spent the last 17 years establishing the expertise and prestige of his firm, TonaLaw. He and his team prosecute civil cases in courts across New York State, including a wide variety of Personal Injury accident claims, as well as New York No-Fault claims in which healthcare providers and injured parties are wrongly denied reimbursement by insurance carriers. Further, the firm represents business litigation clients in legal disputes over monies owed by another party.

Thomas Tona earned his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University in 1990, and continued to Hofstra University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1993. A born and bred Suffolk County, NY resident, Mr. Tona now resides on the north shore of Long Island with his wife, daughter, two dogs and cat. Just recently, Mr. Tona completed a major achievement he had pursued since becoming a martial artist at the age of 15. In December 2017, he earned his black belt at the Emerson Souza Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy.
