Biography

Mr. Norvell practices marital and family law exclusively, including complex dissolution of marriage actions, paternity (establishment and disestablishment) actions, timesharing and parental responsibility matters, stepparent adoptions, post-judgment modifications and enforcements. As a child of divorced parents, a former school teacher, and a father, Mr. Norvell is a strong advocate for the continual and ongoing well-being of the children and parents affected by divorce and paternity matters.

Mr. Norvell is the author of several articles for the Florida Bar Family Law Section’s digital publication, and as contributed articles to the Family Law Section Commentator.

As an active member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section, Mr. Norvell serves on and chairs numerous committees including Technology, CLE, Support Issues, Membership, and Legislation, where he actively advocates Florida’s families. In addition, Mr. Norvell currently sits on the Family Law Section’s Executive Council and is the 2020 recipient of the “Above and Beyond Award” showcasing his dedication to the Family Law Section.
