Biography

Anjali Patel is an associate in the Atlanta office, where she focuses her practice in the areas of arbitration & mediation, general liability, insurance coverage, premises liability, and professional malpractice & ethics.

Before joining HBS, Anjali gained diverse legal experience through positions in both the private and public sectors. At another Atlanta law firm, she worked closely with the corporate litigation team on commercial arbitration matters. As a corporate counsel extern for FedEx in Memphis, Anjali supported the sales transaction & alliances team on regulatory and compliance projects, executed nondisclosure agreements, and collaborated with attorneys on complex transactional matters. Earlier in her career, she served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Ken Smith of the Bibb County Superior Court and the Honorable Judge Jason Ashford of the Houston County State Court, where she conducted legal research and drafted orders and recommendations for use in chambers.

Anjali earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law, where she also received a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing. During law school, she was actively involved in the Bootle Inn of Court and served as negotiations chair for Mercer Advocacy Counsel. She was also director of outreach for the Asian Pacific Law Student Association

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and International Affairs, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, where she served in the role of ambassador to the university in the Arch Society, director of the mentor program for the School of Public & International Affairs (SPIA), and co-founder of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the SPIA college.
