Biography

Catherine Kennedy McKnight is an associate in our Atlanta office who practices in business litigation, construction, corporate and partnership, general liability, insurance coverage, medical malpractice, premises liability, and real estate matters.

Formerly a summer associate with HBS, Kennedy clerked with a personal injury firm in Macon where she gained experience in insurance defense matters. She also interned for Congressman Rick Allen with the U.S. House of Representatives.

Kennedy earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University, where she was chairman of the Moot Court team and a Moot Court finalist in 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Communications at Auburn University. While in school, she was a field reporter for ESPNU Campus Connection Correspondent and conveyed game statistics, information, and team statements to other media officials.
