Stefanie T. McHugh is Of Counsel in our office in Brunswick, Georgia, and her practice is focused on estate planning, fiduciary law, corporate formation, and strategic planning.
Stefanie began her career in the private client group of a large bank, where she helped administer estates and trusts for high net worth individuals. She also oversaw investment portfolios and cash positions to ensure they met the legal obligations of the estate or trust.
Stefanie brings extensive knowledge and expertise in sophisticated estate planning to HBS and previously practiced for more than a decade at other firms in Atlanta and the Brunswick areas.
She has handled numerous wills, trusts, probate, business formation, and other related services such as coordinating with accountants, financial advisors, and insurance agents to develop a coordinated and strategic plan. She has also conducted seminars and educational training on Georgia probate law, federal estate and gift tax regulations, and the need for effective estate planning.
Stefanie earned a Juris Doctor from Emory University and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government from the University of Notre Dame.
She has served on the Advisory Board for St. Francis Xavier Catholic School in Brunswick for six years and was President of the Board for three years. She also served on the Board of the Golden Isles Youth Orchest.
