Biography

Nate Gorman is a Partner in the Nashville office of Hall Booth Smith specializing in aging services, business litigation, health care, correctional health care, dental, medical malpractice, and general liability matters.

With several members of his family working as health care providers, Nate has rich insights into the profession and a personal interest and desire to defend healthcare practitioners.

A native of Franklin, Tennessee, Nate received a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee with a concentration in advocacy. While in law school, he represented indigent clients in the Advocacy Clinic, one of the longest-running legal clinics in the country. Also during law school, he served as a member and editor of Transactions: Tennessee Journal of Business Law, was a member of Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Moot Court Team, and received CALI Awards for Contract Drafting and the Advocacy Clinic.

He completed his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Public Administration and Political Science with a minor in Economics from the University of Tennessee.
