Biography

Nelson Nettles is an Indiana University graduate who earned his B.A. in Political Science before completing his legal education at the Indiana University School of Law. Early in his career, he gained valuable courtroom and chambers experience through federal judicial clerkships in the Southern District of Indiana. He served as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge J. Patrick Endsley and later clerked for U.S. District Judge Larry J. McKinney. Those roles gave him an inside view of how cases are evaluated, briefed, and decided in federal court, insight he now brings to every matter he handles. Mr. Nettles focuses his practice on tort and insurance litigation, representing clients in a wide range of disputes in both Indiana state and federal courts. He is experienced in managing cases from the earliest investigation and pleadings through discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial when necessary. Clients appreciate his steady, detail-oriented approach and his ability to explain the process in clear terms. Whether a case involves personal injury claims, coverage questions, or complex liability issues, Nelson Nettles works to develop a strategy that protects his clients’ interests and positions them for the best possible outcome.
