Patrick is an owner and partner of the firm and has fought for over 25 years on behalf of victims who have suffered serious injuries or have been wrongfully killed. Patrick is the past President of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and was nominated as one of Canada’s Most Influential Lawyers in Canadian Lawyer Magazine.

Patrick initiated the most comprehensive Coroner’s Review of Pedestrian and Cycling deaths in Ontario, and was awarded the Active Transportation Champion of the Year by Toronto Centre for Active Transportation. More recently, Patrick received the “Safety Award of Excellence” by the Ontario Safety League (est. 1911) and was also the recipient of the prestigious 2018 “Professional Award” from the Ontario Brain Injury Association for his outstanding support of individuals living with the effects of brain injury. Patrick is the author of law books, teaches law students and lectures widely throughout the province to other lawyers.
Patrick proudly sits on the Steering Committee of Friends and Families for Safe Streets and is the lead organizer of the Vulnerable Road User Coalition of Ontario.
