Biography

Renea graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism in 1990. She attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2008. Before law school, Renea worked as a writer and graphic designer in a church and in non-profit agencies, including the the Texas Center for the Judiciary, the Texas Council on Family Violence/National Domestic Violence Hotline in Austin and Catholic Charities in Houston. After graduating from law school, Renea worked as a landman and an oil and gas attorney in Fort Worth. She started her own practice in 2011 and practices Family, Immigration and Employment Discrimination law. When Renea is not working, she travels and works on her fiction and non-fiction writing projects.
