Biography

Richard Nguyen has served as Managing Attorney of Nguyen & Nguyen since 2004, guiding the firm's real estate, business, and estate planning practices throughout Virginia and Maryland.

Richard's practice centers on the transactions that matter most to individuals and businesses: preparing and reviewing deeds, drafting and negotiating contracts, and handling general real estate matters from purchase through closing. He also advises clients on business formation and estate planning, helping them protect what they've built and plan for what's ahead.

In addition to his role at Nguyen & Nguyen, Richard serves in a managing role at MBH Settlement Group, a full-service title and settlement company and industry leader in the DC Metro area. Through MBH, he supports real estate clients directly in the transactional side of home sales, purchases, and refinancing and giving clients a single point of contact across both the legal and settlement aspects of their transaction.

Clients come to Richard for direct, practical guidance rather than unnecessary complexity. He believes engagement letters and legal documents should be clear enough that clients understand exactly what they're getting — and flat-fee representation is central to that philosophy, giving clients certainty from the outset.

Richard earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland.

Since founding his practice in 2004, Richard has built Nguyen & Nguyen around responsive, relationship-driven service — the kind of firm where clients can expect a straight answer and a lawyer who's easy to reach.
