Born and raised in Tennessee, Richard has built his law practice on the time-honored values of integrity, hard work, and serving people.

Richard practices in the areas of criminal defense, divorce and family law, personal injury, social security disability, and worker's compensation. He serves clients in Williamson, Davidson, Maury, and Rutherford Counties in Middle Tennessee.
A litigator with deep knowledge in worker's compensation laws, Richard has served at the Appellate level for the Department of Labor's Worker's Compensation Division, where he presided over the appeal of hundreds of worker's compenation claims. He also has served on the Administrative Review Committee for the Governor's and Commissioner's Top-to-Bottom Review.
With vast experience in his practice areas, Richard regularly teaches continuing education courses to other lawyers.
Richard grew up in Sparta, with his mother and step-father, the late Angela and John Camp, who were both lawyers in the Middle Tennessee community. He followed in their footsteps upon graduating from Nashville School of Law in 1999, and has continued the family's tradition of serving clients through excellent legal representation.
Richard is married and has two daughters. A son of Tennessee, he is also an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoys a good fishing trip.
