Biography

Samuel Robert “Sam” Velasquez is an Associate in our Charleston office, whose practice focuses on aging services, general liability, insurance coverage, labor and employment, premises liability, products liability, and transportation.

Prior to joining HBS, Sam worked for a full-service law firm where he gained experience in criminal, contract, property, construction, tort, and civil law. He earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration as a dual graduate degree in a three and a half year timespan from the University of South Carolina, where he served as the Alumni Development Editor for the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business. He was also a member of the Veterans Legal Clinic. Sam earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College.
