Biography

Scott T. Moorey is a second-generation Fort Myers attorney who practically grew up in the local courtrooms. His father started practicing criminal defense here back in 1972, so Scott saw firsthand what it takes to protect people’s rights from a very young age. After interning at the State Attorney’s Office in 1997, he realized the deck is often stacked against the defendant, and he’s spent every day since then leveling the playing field. Scott is known for being a straight shooter, he doesn’t believe in sugar-coating the truth. He believes you deserve to hear the reality of your situation, even if it’s hard to swallow, so you can make the best decisions for your future. Since opening the Law Firm of Scott T. Moorey, he’s made sure no client gets lost in the shuffle. Whether you’re facing a minor traffic ticket or a serious felony, Scott brings the same aggressive, knowledgeable energy to the table. He’s a local through and through who loves hunting and fishing, but his real passion is proving his mantra that "good people do get arrested" without it defining their entire lives.
