Scott T. Witthuhn is a Principal in Cummings & Lockwood’s Commercial Real Estate and Corporate and Finance Groups. He is based in the firm’s Stamford office.
Scott is a transaction lawyer whose practice covers a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. Scott has substantial experience representing both landlords and tenants in office, retail, and mixed-use leases. He regularly advises clients on the acquisition, disposition, and development of office, retail, hotel, industrial and multifamily assets, and represents both lenders and borrowers in connection with real estate financings.
Scott also represents financial institutions in non-real estate secured lending transactions, including credit facilities secured by limited partnership, LLC and corporation interests, fine art collections, aircraft, and yachts.
In addition, Scott’s practice includes representing businesses and high net worth individuals in a wide variety of commercial and contractual matters, such as joint venture agreements, master services agreements, sponsorship agreements, and license agreements.
Prior to joining Cummings & Lockwood, Scott was an Associate in the Capital Transactions and Real Estate Group in the New York office of a large international law firm.
