Biography

Staci Dumas Carson's journey began in El Dorado, Arkansas, where she cultivated a strong academic foundation at Norphlet High School, graduating as valedictorian. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Staci enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, complemented by a minor in Technical Writing. Throughout her collegiate years, Staci's involvement with Chi Omega underscored her commitment to both academic and social engagement.

Driven by a passion for justice, Staci pursued her legal education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, graduating with honors in 2003. During her time in law school, Staci distinguished herself as Assistant Research Editor and Executive Editor of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Review. Her contributions extended beyond editing, as she authored notable pieces and survey articles, leaving an indelible mark on legal scholarship. Staci's editorial prowess also found expression in her role as Student Editor of the Journal of Appellate Practice & Process, where she honed her skills in legal analysis and writing.

Upon joining the firm in 2003, Staci embarked on a trajectory marked by professional achievement and leadership. Currently serving as the managing partner, her tenure has been defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to client advocacy. With a portfolio boasting over 25 reported appellate decisions, Staci's expertise in complex litigation is widely recognized within the legal community.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Staci is a member of the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers, where she previously served as the Development Chair. Outside the office, Staci finds joy and fulfillment in her role as a devoted wife to Kris and a dedicated mother to their two boys, Noah and Eli. Together, they cherish moments of family bonding, whether through outdoor pursuits like hunting and fishing or cheering on Noah's baseball games and Eli's trap shooting competitions. Amidst the demands of her professional and personal life, Staci finds solace in her love for literature, country music, running, and indulging in the occasional Netflix binge.

Staci's contributions extend beyond the courtroom, as evidenced by her notable publications, including her co-authorship of "Punitive Damages: A State-by-State Compendium" and her article "Making Amends" in the Journal of Literature and Medicine. Recognized for her legal acumen and dedication to her craft, Staci has earned prestigious accolades such as inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America© since 2013 and selection to the Mid-South Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list from 2008 to 2013, followed by continued recognition on the Super Lawyers® list from 2014 onward.
