Biography

Stephen has been a licensed attorney for over 25 years, with extensive experience in complex business, commercial and family legal issues. More recently, he has dedicated himself to helping families navigate the challenging and ever-changing world of estate planning and elder law. He brings his experience, knowledge, and judgment into every client relationship to serve as a trusted advisor, understanding that each family’s situation is unique and special.

Decades of Legal Experience

Having worked and supported himself through college and law school, Stephen graduated from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 1992. He was first licensed as an attorney in Texas the same year and practiced in Houston for the first 14 years of his career. In 2006, Stephen was admitted to the State Bar of South Dakota and established his firm in Rapid City. He has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 31 years and they have three sons.
