Biography

Stephen L. Witenoff has substantial experience in matters involving the defense of insurance agent’s errors and omissions, claims against disability and life insurance companies, as well as all aspects of insurance agency practice and procedures, insurance law, disability law, and ERISA. His practice also includes the defense of attorney malpractice claims, general negligence claims, contractual indemnification claims, claims involving personal injury and property loss and asbestos and toxic tort litigation.

For 32 years, Stephen was a named partner in a Southfield, Michigan law firm focused on insurance law, professional malpractice defense, and products liability, among other matters. Prior to founding that firm, Stephen served as an attorney at Sullivan Ward for many years.

Stephen also serves as a consulting attorney to the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents in Lansing, Michigan.
