Biography

A life-long Knoxville resident, Jones graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Law in 1990. Active with the Shriners, Jones emphasizes the importance of community service to each member of the firm. He demonstrates this by undertaking several pro bono cases each year. Although he may provide services to many. Jones understands that each client's case is the most important one to them. For that very reason, in accepting each Jones makes a pledge to the client that the office will strive to answer any questions they may have along the legal road, with honesty and timeliness.Well-regarded in his hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee, T. Scott has received numerous accolades and awards. Multiple times, his peers in the legal field have voted him one of Knoxville’s Top Attorneys in polls conducted by CityView magazine. The American Institute of Criminal Attorneys named him one of Tennessee’s 10 Best Attorneys, and the American Society of Legal Advocates named him one of Tennessee’s Top 100 Litigation Lawyers. He has also been nationally recognized as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America by the National Trial Lawyers. T. Scott’s successful litigations of his clients have also qualified him for the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.Outside of the courtroom, you can find T. Scott on the weekends attending services at Concord United Methodist Church or hunting (he is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association).T.
