Biography

Tish Morrical's law practice focuses on civil litigation, family law, mediation, elder law, guardian ad litem work, and family law case management. She is a mediator approved by the Kansas Supreme Court and is often appointed to represent children in their parents' divorce case, as well as appointed by the court to serve as a type of arbitrator in family law cases under the Kansas Case Management statute. Tish's practice is a regional practice that covers most of the north central Kansas area and she frequently travels to many different counties as needed by her clients.

Tish was born in Norton, Kansas and attended Bethany College-Lindsborg, where she played intercollegiate basketball and softball. In 1990, she obtained her bachelor's degree with majors in Social Work and Sociology, and a minor in Administration of Justice. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Tish worked for the Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (now the Department of Children and Families) in the Adult Protective Services Unit and began her Master's program at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare. She completed her dual Masters of Social Work and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Kansas in 1996. After graduation, Tish joined the law firm of Hampton & Royce, L.C. and became partner in 2001.

Tish is actively involved in the legal and local communities. She has been elected to the Board of Governors for the Kansas Bar Association and is a member of the Bench-Bar Committee for the 28th Judicial District. She is the past President of the Family Law Section of the Kansas Bar Association and remains on the executive board. She has also served as the past President of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Kansas Bar Association and the Saline-Ottawa County Bar Association. She is an active member of the Falun-Salemsborg Lutheran Parish and has coached numerous youth basketball, volleyball and softball teams.

She is the proud mother of Hayley, Hannah and T.J., as well as an avid exerciser and equestrian.
