Biography

Mr. Burkett is a native of Huntsville, Alabama who joined the firm in 1999 after graduating from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Mr. Burkett has substantial experience across a wide range of transactional law issues. Mr. Burkett's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, formation of business entities, and negotiation of financing agreements, but also includes a variety of other subjects.

Todd currently serves on the advisory board for the Howard College of Arts and Sciences at Samford University and attends Latham United Methodist Church in Huntsville.

Notably, Mr. Burkett's previous transaction work includes the 2015 acquisition of Duracolor, LLC by Federal Heath Sign Company, LLC, the 2015 acquisition of Norandex Building Materials Distribution, Inc. by ABC Supply Co., Inc., the 2014 acquisition of Standard Roofings, Inc. by ABC Supply Co., Inc., the 2014 sale of The American Worker Plans Division of American Westbrook Insurance Services, LLC to Plan Benefits Services, Inc.; the 2013 acquisition of Lee Wholesale by ABC Supply Co., Inc.; and the 2010 merger of Bradco Supply Corp. into ABC Supply Co., Inc.
