Trey Morris founded Trey Morris Injury Lawyers in 2002 and has spent more than two decades representing people in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. His approach to trial centers on making complicated legal, medical, and technical issues clear to jurors. Through detailed preparation, multimedia presentations, and carefully developed graphics, he builds narratives that help juries understand what happened and why it matters.
More than half of the firm’s cases come from attorney referrals. Other lawyers turn to Trey for representation and co-counsel opportunities in cases involving commercial vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries. He also teaches continuing legal education courses on trial strategy and case preparation.
The firm has obtained multiple seven-, eight-, and nine-figure verdicts and settlements, including a $409 million wrongful death verdict. Trey serves on the Board of Governors of the Louisiana Association for Justice. He has received Super Lawyers recognition annually from 2019 through 2026 and previously earned Rising Stars recognition for four consecutive years. He is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Louisiana and Texas State Bar Association.
Trey earned his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center.
