Tyler first joined the firm as an associate attorney in August of 2013 and became a member of the firm in January of 2020. He is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and called Greenville home most of his life. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and became a member of the South Carolina Bar in 2013. In 2015, Tyler received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Tyler assists his clients in a wide range of areas of law, including assisting his clients as to the formation and operation of their businesses, buying and selling real estate, and acquiring or selling businesses. He assists his clients with estate planning, including wills and trusts, business succession, retirement benefits, and tax planning to reduce or minimize taxes for his clients. He represents his clients in probate administration and all issues involving estates or trusts. He does residential and commercial real estate closings. He also has experience representing clients in civil litigation matters in all courts.
When not working for his clients, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family and wife, Jenna Hendricks McLeod, who is also an attorney working for the Greenville County Solicitor’s Office as a prosecutor. Tyler also enjoys movies, concerts, sporting events and traveling.
