Yuko Nakahara is a passionate and zealous advocate for her clients, motivated by her belief that health care professionals are under-appreciated and that they deserve the best possible legal representation in our litigious society. Highly skilled, detail-oriented and thorough, Yuko has been on an upward tra jectory ever since joining MCB and is now one of the Firm’s talented Senior Trial Partners. Her 18+ years of experience include:

•Vigorously defending clients in all manners of medical malpractice claims.

•Representing nursing homes, home care and other allied health services against allegations involving abuse, negligence, wrongful death, and other areas of medical malpractice.

•Defending individual doctors, nurses, aides and technicians, as well as hos pitals, nursing homes and dialysis centers in professional liability matters.

•Obtaining successful outcomes in premises liability and general liability cases.

Yuko is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, their highest rating.* This rating is based on legal ability and ethical standards as judged by an attorney’s peers, as well as client reviews.

Yuko has participated in case presentations at teaching hospitals on matters concerning prevalent nursing issues, and she is a regular Continuing Legal Ed ucation presenter. She has written and co-written authoritative articles for MD News - Long Island and the Firm’s newsletter, Defense Practice Update.

As the head of the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, Yuko devotes con siderable time to conducting and coordinating ongoing employee education and training on critical issues related to creating a safe and inclusive working environment at MCB.
