1. $3M – brain injury – client hit by truck that ran red light. Suffered moderate brain injury. Part of skull removed because of swelling in brain. Lost job because it required her to do math and use her memory. Both of these skills were affected by the brain injury.
2. $1.75M jury verdict in Augusta county for a medical malpractice case. During routine knee replacement doctor clipped artery. Patient lost her leg.
3. $1.6M – cerebal palsey – Baby born with lack of oxygen to brain because of delay in delivery. Life-time brain injury.
4. $800K – med mal – Physician failed to test patient's liver before and after prescribing drug as required. Resulted in patient's death.
5. $600K – assault and battery – Employee of business with history of being sexually inappropriate molested woman in store.
6. $600K – car v. school bus – School bus ran stop sign resulting in T-Bone collision. Client's leg suffered multiple fractures.
