Customs Law

A customs law and international trade attorney works with both individuals and businesses to address the host of legal issues that people and companies may face when importing items into the United State and when exporting products to other countries. A customs law firm will have experience working with business clients on issues related to customs valuations, tariff classifications, fines and penalties, intellectual property disputes, seized and detained property, and free trade agreements. Customs law lawyers will also work with individuals who have had currency confiscated by the U.S. Customs & Border Protection when entering or leaving the country.
