Borton Petrini, LLP, specializes in labor and employment law, effectively representing employers in all matters pertaining to the operation of a business or enterprise. We publish a quarterly Labor and Employment Law Update to keep clients up to date on changing employment and labor law. Our experienced attorneys are vigilant in representing our clients in matters of discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and employment contracts as well as advising on policies and practices that help avoid conflicts in these areas. We also represent clients facing labor board complaints, unemployment insurance issues, and Unfair Labor Practices charges in front of the NLRB and ALRB.  Our Firm represents insurance carriers, third party administrators and employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from inception to trial, including 132a discrimination claims, claims for serious and willful misconduct, and subrogation claims in addition to issues pertaining to the Fair Employment and Housing Act, OSHA, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Family and Medical Leave Act. We also represent employers in union certification, decertification and in collective bargaining negotiations.
