Cohen and Wolf's Legal Ethics Group counsels and represents attorneys, law firms and persons seeking admission to the Connecticut Bar in matters concerning licensing and professional discipline as well as litigation. We assist and defend attorneys and law firms in disciplinary proceedings including grievance complaints and court sanction hearings, IOLTA account audits, fee disputes, malpractice actions, and admission and reinstatement proceedings. We also serve as expert witnesses in the areas of professional ethics and professional liability. Our services are practical and proactive, because we believe that some complaints which might otherwise be resolved can instead result in findings of liability or probable cause if attorneys seek to represent themselves without the assistance of experienced counsel.
