Our attorneys
are qualified to handle any issue related to green and other sustainable
construction practices and certifications. A number of our attorneys are
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals
(LEED-AP), as are many of our litigators, the result of which is that Jones
Walker has one of the largest green practices in the Gulf South. Jones Walker
attorneys have extensive experience assisting architects, contractors,
subcontractors, consultants, developers, landlords and tenants in structuring
agreements for construction projects that incorporate green building practices
or achieve LEED certification. The firm is a member of the U.S. Green Building
Council, the U.S. Green Building Council of Louisiana, and the U.S. Green
Building Council of Mississippi.
In addition to
