Workers' Compensation

The lawyers of Lewis Thomason have years of experience representing various employers, including large self-insured companies and several insurance carriers, in workers’ compensation claims filed by their employees. Whether a claim is settled early in the proceedings, presented at the Department of Labor through a benefit review conference or ultimately moved to a trial, our lawyers have the depth of experience necessary to obtain the best possible results in a cost-efficient manner for our clients. Our lawyers are also ready to guide employers and insurers through the drastic changes to Tennessee workers’ compensation law, which went into effect on July 1, 2014, and to litigate claims in the new workers’ compensation administrative courts.

Additionally, our lawyers assist their clients by holding on-site presentations regarding workers’ compensation law and advising clients on handling of claims and potential claims.
