Mediation

Mediation is a type of "alternative dispute resolution" that allows two or more parties involved in a dispute to settle their disagreement without going to court and resorting to civil litigation. The parties will typically meet with a third party, known as a mediator, who helps them come to a mutually agreeable resolution.
