About this firm

We have practiced law here since 1970, meaning we know the laws and the courtrooms in which they are applied. But our knowledge runs much deeper than that. We know the people who live here and we understand the hard work they do. Attorneys at our law firm are from coal mining families and grew up seeing firsthand the toll this dangerous work can take. We are proud to serve as advocates for people who have suffered that toll, as well as anyone who has been hurt at work or due to an act of negligence.

Knowledge Is the Foundation of Success Our lawyers have been involved in resolving the biggest catastrophic accident claims in West Virginia. We have achieved an unprecedented record of success in these cases in part because of our subject matter knowledge. When we take on a new case, we are not starting from scratch. Having grown up around miners and spent time in mines ourselves, we understand the industry.
