Since 1897, Barber, Segatto, Hoffee, Wilke & Cate has established itself as one of Springfield's leading law firms. We are proud of our firm's long history in Springfield and our role in the growth of Springfield. Through our legal counsel, we have guided many area development projects to fruition, from the construction and development of Lake Springfield in the 1930s to the construction of Federal offices in downtown Springfield in this decade. For over a century, the firm has represented Springfield area families and the business community, assisting them in growth, acquisition and transfers both from generation to generation and through sales of mature businesses.

The firm remains committed to a "small firm" philosophy of offering personalized attention to our clients. We have established strong, multi-generational relationships with many of our clients.
