BUSINESS FORMATION:

Forming a business is like collecting all your gear before a big expedition. I will not let my clients go out on the side of a snowy cliff without their trusty ice axes and a rope. When it comes to starting a business, I want to impart to you as much knowledge as I can so that you can make the most educated decisions about your business. I will plan for your success while minimizing the risks in your business expedition.

TRADEMARK REGISTRATION:

A trademark protects the brand of goods and services that a business sells. You probably have put a lot of effort into a name for your business, or money into that logo, or creativity into that slogan. The crazy thing is that not all brands are created equally. With all this talk about choosing a name, conducting a clearance search, and understanding the risks involved in trademark registration, I can only imagine how confusing it must all be for the first-time entrepreneur. Let's explore your options to protect your brand.

MEDIATION SERVICES:

Mediation allows you to control your destiny. Any good lawyer will tell you that they have absolutely no idea what will happen once a case is submitted to a judge or jury. That is why many employment, civil cases, and business disputes are best resolved outside the courtroom. Every case has its own complexity and importance to both parties, which is why direct negotiations often fail. Mediation often leads to mutually acceptable outcomes that are far more favorable than the costs, risks, and publicity associated with continued, full-blown litigation. In mediation, the parties retain control of their resolution.

Basecamp Legal provides neutral, cost effective, and efficient methods to helping you settle your case. Mediation sessions are confidential and voluntary for all parties. If mediation is unsuccessful and an agreement cannot be reached, parties may still pursue all legal remedies, including private lawsuits.

GENERAL COUNSEL:

Not everyone can afford to hire a full-time general counsel. Even those who can, don’t always have a need for one. Sometimes businesses just want occasional guidance: identifying potential problems; discussing pending legal matters; and moving the business forward. Summit Law Solutions provides these services on an as-needed basis.
