Founded by Howard
E. Baumgartner in an office located within the First Bank of Berne
building on Jefferson Street on December 1, 1950, our firm's legacy
spans generations. Howard practiced law until 1995, succeeded by
James E. Beitler, Jr., who contributed to the firm from 1974 to 2013.
Joining in 1985, David N. Baumgartner and Nicholas J. Baumgartner,
who became part of the firm in 2017, collectively furthered the
firm's growth. The relocation to the current Main Street office
occurred in November 2013.
