Boykin & Davis, LLC is a law firm organized to provide quality legal services to school districts, governmental entities, and other non-profit service organizations. Our mission is to offer effective legal representation to clients at cost-efficient rates.

Our goal is to provide quality legal services and build strong client relationships. To accomplish our goal, we hire only those attorneys with demonstrated academic success or successful experience in serving our client base who understand the role school districts, governmental entities and non-profit service organizations play in our community. We place a great emphasis on preventative measures to avoid expensive and time-consuming litigation. However, when litigation is unavoidable, we will use our experience before all federal and state courts to advocate our client's position.

Our greatest strength is our understanding of the changing environment which influences the operations of school districts, governmental entities and non-profit organizations and our ability to provide sound legal advice in this changing environment.

Our goal is to encourage all public officials to seek legal assistance before an actual controversy matures into litigation because most litigation may be avoided with early effective legal guidance. This goal is intended to help school districts, governmental entities and non-profit organizations understand that sound legal advice early in a controversy may prevent expensive and time-consuming litigation.

In the area of litigation, our attorneys have extensive experience in insurance defense to include employment law, property and casualty and worker compensation defense. Our approach is to develop a sound legal strategy with an eye toward resolving a case a the earliest point or positioning for a favorable result at trial.

The firm, which was formed December 1, 2005, is located at 220 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 100, Columbia, South Carolina 29210. In addition to the two principals, the firm employs six associates, two of counsel attorneys, and four paralegals. Boykin & Davis, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
