About this firm

Casey Bailey & Maines, PLLC is located in Lexington, the heart of Kentucky. The firm maintains a roster of ten attorneys experienced in defense litigation. Each attorney has an exemplary record of defending clients in all areas of tort liability, including but not limited to medical malpractice, veterinary medical malpractice, workers compensation, professional malpractice, premises liability, products liability, general truck and auto liability, municipal and government liability, insurance liability, coal mining litigation and property damage. Our attorneys also represent insurance carriers directly in a variety of areas, including bad faith litigation. We further act as corporate counsel for a Fortune 500 corporation, coordinating their litigation and bankruptcy in four states. We also currently handle select litigation matters for clients in the state of Indiana, and are also licensed to practice in the state of Georgia and Tennessee. We also employ five full time paralegals who are trained for the specific demands of litigation and trial. Our paralegals are experienced in all areas of litigation, including but not limited to the preparation of witnesses, obtaining experts, coordination of discovery, review of medical records and trial attendance.

OBJECTIVE
The main objective of Casey Bailey & Maines is to utilize the expertise of each professional to act as a zealous advocate for its clients. We maintain a select clientele, and ensure that each professional has a caseload that allows for close client contact, all the while maximizing the value of all client fees. We strive to maintain competitive rates and provide legal representation that is unmatched in the Commonwealth.

PHILOSOPHY
Our basic philosophy is to quickly analyze the issues pertaining to liability in any case we are asked to review. If liability should be clear, our goal is to resolve the case for the best possible value while not incurring unnecessary legal fees and expenses. We are likewise willing to assist our clients in educational endeavors with their employees or their own clients to provide insight into how to avoid litigation in the future.

We will further pledge to provide timely assessments to our clients with regards to potential liability, and to balance those assessments with estimates of anticipated litigation costs. We will likewise pledge to be prepared to try any and all cases that we defend. Cases should not be settled at any point in litigation due to an attorney's lack of desire to take the matter to trial. Accordingly, Casey Bailey & Maines, PLLC employs only attorneys who are not intimidated by a court room.

We also pledge to use resources in a cost efficient manner, including the use of our paralegal staff to its fullest potential. We look to enjoy a long term relationship with each and every client, and submit that our results will garner trust that such relationship is beneficial for all involved.
