Casten & Pearce A Professional Law Corporation was formed on June 30, 1994 by Marshall R. Pearce and Theodore J. Casten, who were partners together in another insurance defense firm in Shreveport, Louisiana for nine years. Specializing in casualty litigation of all types, the firm also has a practice area in public finance/municipal bonds. The casualty side has an emphasis on personal lines litigation with a specialization in extra-contractual matters. We are committed to the highest quality representation, aggressive defense of claims, and emphasis on cost-containment with timely resolution of disputes. Vast experience in mediation and arbitration have fostered a favorable climate for alternative dispute resolution for our clients. Our attorneys have extensive trial appellate experience in all matters of casualty litigation.
